it's prolly gonna be a pain in the ass to convert everything to fit into your 90 dx..so what i would do is sell the car to me for 500$ so you make a hundred. ha ha. seriously, buy a ragged out 97 VX hatch w/ a billion miles and put the si drivetrain in there..you will have one FLY car.

it'll definitely fit w/ mounts...you'll just need to convert it to OBD0 or OBD1...no big deal. go for it...there's plenty you can sell of that car to get way more than your money back...

does that involve tearing out the whole harness and putting in the harness from the 99 si? or do you just run a few wires, change ecus (and maybe plugs) and that's it? oh, and don't forget changing from cable clutch to hydro. hmm..i wish i had a 99 si parts car to play with

it depends on how you wanna run it...OBD0 or OBD1...either way you can keep your stock harness and run some wires...its really a matter of the sensor's that are used on the engine... somebody make's a cable-hydro kit...place, maybe or you can get one of the earlier cable tranny's....

is the 99-00 si OBD I or OBD II? i'd imagine he'd want to run the ECU that he's getting with the car. my idea would be to get the oldest highest mile hatch he could find (92 for OBD I i think and 97 for OBD II?) and transfer the engine over..that would be soooo easy. everything would plug right in.

I'd personally run it OBD1...there's no reason to run it OBD2, but it can be done. people make adapter harness's for both applications... but the fact is that OBD1 is better than OBD2 and alot of people w/ OBD2 convert down to OBD1...

yeah well i talked to my motor man and he said that it is a lot of work and it would cost more that it is worth, just buy the car for the 400.00 and sell the motor for like 3,000 and then the front seats and all the other goodys.....it even had the bare brakes on it i can sell them to. but then he said that he will get me the sir and do all the work and i'll i really spent was 400.00. so i guess that will be cool
